The servers are multi-homed, with two direct feeds of bandwidth
directly into the equipment, 10Mbit/s link to Linx (Linx is the
growing backbone of U.K. Internet services) and a 1Mbit/s international
link.
They are constantly monitored every 15 seconds for any failures.
Based in a rack in Manchester with the option to be seconded by
a further server based in Telehouse in London. Telehouse is the
leading site in the U.K. for housing Internet servers.
